What injuries have you had in the past? I have had so many! I tore my hamstring in 2019 which is when I first got a LightSpeed at home! I also used it for metatarsal injuries, and a recent pelvic injury from pregnancy.
How do you feel about your injuries mentally? Injuries are tough but the LightSpeed is so helpful to be able to keep running and feeling like I can do some sort of movement.
What was your recovery plan? I took some time completely off for most of my injuries and then resumed a plan with cross training and the LightSpeed.
How has LightSpeed Lift been incorporated into your training and recovery plan? I use it to ramp up to full weight running. It is a really nice bridge because sometimes an injury isn’t really for full bodyweight but with the LightSpeed you can find the weight to be able to run with no pain!
What do you love best about the LightSpeed Lift? I like that it feels very natural and even though you are strapped in you still feel like you can have a similar running form to that of running outside or on a normal treadmill.
How long have you been using the LightSpeed Lift? I started using the LightSpeed around 2018 I think! My team in Oregon had one and then I reached out to get one at home.
Which LightSpeed Lift system do you use? Whatever the new one is haha- Molly knows which one I have but not the biggest one just the step down since the big one didn’t fit in our basement.
When do you use the LightSpeed Lift? And why? I use it when I am returning from injury or for double runs when I need less pounding.
What benefits do you see physically and mentally from using LightSpeed Lift? I really enjoy still being able to sweat and feel like I am training even during periods of injury. It helps me to return to running in a safe way! I think the convenience of having it at home is also huge, especially now being a new mom! +
Which LightSpeed Lift system do you use? I use the LSX-500 at my home.

“On the recommendation of Nike teammate Galen Rupp, Jordan reached out for a LightSpeed Lift system in November of 2018 as she was recovering from a foot injury. Meeting her for the first time in her garage gym and seeing her smile as she experienced the “real run feel” of LightSpeed remains a highlight memory for me. She recovered quite well and placed 3rd at Boston in 2019.
In 2024 we reconnected as she was transitioning into coaching and motherhood. Using the LIghtSpeed Lift system during her pregnancy and most importantly post Partum helped her to not only keep and regain her step but also to retain the delightful smile that has been a trademark throughout her career. LightSpeed Lift is proud to be part of her program. We look forward to working with her and many of her crew for years to come. Fresh legs are happy legs!" - Malcolm Macaulay, LightSpeed Lift Founder
